Congratulations to the students who made Principal's Honor Roll and Honor Roll for the 1st grading period. Students will be honored during an assembly on 11/25/09. The times for the assemblies are: 6th grade 8:15-9; 7th grade 10:45-11:30; 8th grade 9:15-10:00.

School Fusion and Edulink Passcodes (required to create a parent access account) may be picked up from the school office between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.  Please bring a current photo ID with your current address with you for verification.  If your photo id does not have your current address, please bring your photo id with a recent bill with your current home address and name on it. 

School Fusion allows you to receive email alerts for due dates on assignments and provides a great way to see what is going on each day in class with your student.  Edulink provides access to your student's grades and allows parents to update their child's emergency information online.

PLEASE NOTE:

1. Usernames must be at least 4 characters
2. If users enter more than a 12 character username or password in School Fusion, EduLink chops the username and password at 12 characters
3. The following characters in the logins are not valid (‘ ~ ! , # $ % ^ & * ( ) - + = < > ; : \ “ [space] ) and you will not be able to log in.
4. You MUST link to your student(s) in Fusion before you can log into Edulink - allow 48 hours after linking to your student(s).
5. After changing your password, you will not be able to use it for Edulink access for about 48 hours (3 days if you change it on Friday).

Please view the following attachment for information on the Middle School Grading Scale that takes effect for the 2009-2010 school year. Please disregard the information listed in the student agenda.

It is now MANDATORY for all 6th graders to be vaccinated for Tetanus, Diptheria, and Pertussis prior to the first day of school.  This also applys to all students who have not had a tetanus shot in the last 5 years.  Local health departments will provide the vaccination free of charge to uninsured rising 6th graders.  For Health Department information call 703.732.6301 (Manassas), 703.792-7300 (Woodbridge) or visit www.pwcgov.org and click on "Health".  Clinics are located at 9301 Lee Avenue in Manassas, and 13792 Smoketown Road in Woodbridge.
